A bit about MICK PEALING:
From the days of 'The Ideals', to 'The Stars' (and his smash hit "The Mighty Rock") and 'The Spaniards', Mick has been a part of the Australian Rock Elite for more than a generation.  Not actually knowing he could sing, or have a voice that might be pleasing to the ear, Mick decided one afternoon in the early 70's to go to a local concert put on by some local musos, where he reluctantly got up to sing after being pointed out as someone who might know the words to "Alright Now". Although he sang with his back to the audience, Mick sang the song well enough to be asked to join the band. This band contained two members which, would become "Stars".  Today, Mick continues his love for British hard Rock from the 60’s and 70’s with the band Raw Brit featuring members of Boom Crash Opera, Angels, Rose Tattoo, Skyhooks & Baby Animals.

A bit about NICK CHARLES:
Those who have seen him perform live over the past 30 years or so, listened to his recordings or read his excellent Rhythms column will be well aware of Nick Charles’s considerable prowess as an acoustic guitar finger-picker and his expertise over a wide range of roots music.  Nick is one of Australia's most awarded guitarists, with accolades that include: 
- “Port Fairy Folk Festival Artist of the Year 2014”
- “Twice winner of the Australian Song Contest”
- “Song of the Year 2013 and 2014” – Australian Blues Awards
- “Album of the Year” (MBAS) Multiple times
- “Song of the Year” (MBAS) Multiple times
- “Solo Performer of the Year” Multiple times
- “AGE Victorian Blues Album of the Year 2016”
- AND... "The International Blues Challenge", the prestigious Guitarist Award (Best Solo/Duo) announced in Memphis in January 2025, a major international recognition for his exceptional acoustic blues & roots playing...

And together Nick & Mick are something special!

- The event will be held outdoors on the lawns of arcobar, with unreserved lawn area seating
- It is recommended that you bring a picnic blanket, cushions, bean bag or low rising picnic chairs.
- You are not permitted to bring any glass bottles or alcohol to this event - Food & Drink facilities are available on the lawn area
